A team of researchers has developed a new approach to collaborative perception, allowing vehicles and infrastructure sensors to work together more effectively. The system, called V2X- DGPE, uses a combination of knowledge distillation, feature compensation, and deformable attention mechanisms to fuse data from multiple sources.

Experiments have shown that V2X-DGPE outperforms existing approaches in terms of detection accuracy and robustness. The system has been tested on a range of scenarios, including urban and rural environments, and has demonstrated improved performance in all cases.
