As AI-powered cybersecurity systems become increasingly sophisticated, it is essential that users understand both the benefits and risks associated with their use.
In addition, the development of frameworks for privacy-preserving AI in cybersecurity is critical for ensuring that user data is protected throughout the cybersecurity process. This includes exploring methods like federated learning, which allows for collaborative data analysis without centralizing sensitive information, and homomorphic encryption, which enables computations on encrypted data.
The future of AI in cybersecurity will be shaped by our ability to navigate the balance between innovation and regulation, ethics and efficiency, and autonomy and oversight.
