Scientists have long been fascinated by the mysterious workings of galaxy clusters, vast collections of stars and galaxies held together by gravity. Now, a new study has shed light on the turbulent behavior of these cosmic giants.
Galaxy clusters are incredibly massive, containing thousands of galaxies and stretching across millions of light-years. Yet, despite their size, they are surprisingly fragile, with delicate balances between heat, gas, and gravity determining their stability.
