In a breakthrough study, researchers at Zurich Zoo have developed an innovative system for monitoring and tracking the behavior of Goodman’s mouse lemurs in their semi-natural habitat. The unique automated feeding station uses radio-frequency identification (RFID) tags to detect individual animals, along with weight measurement technology to track changes in their body mass.
